Crochet Small Ball

Skill Level: Easy
Materials:
  • 4 ply yarn
  • Size "H" crochet hook
Abbreviations:
  • SC - single crochet
  • CH - chain
  • SL ST - slip stitch

  • Round 1: CH 2, 6 SC into 2nd CH from hook. Join with a SL ST to first SC. {6 SC}
  • Round 2: CH 1, 2 SC in each stitch around. Join with a SL ST to the first SC. {12 SC}
  • Round 3: CH 1, 2 SC in each stitch around. Join with a SL ST to the first SC. {24 SC}
  • Round 4-6: CH 1, 1 SC in each stitch around. Join with a SL ST to the first SC. {24 SC}
  • Round 7: CH 1, SC DEC in each stitch around. Join with a SL ST to the first SC. {12 SC}
  • Round 8: CH 1, SC DEC in each stitch around. Join with a SL ST to the first SC. {6 SC} Fasten off, leaving a long tail.
  • Whip stitch through each stitch, pulling tight every stitch. Fasten off. Sew in the end.

  1. What mm is the hook you've used? There doesn't seem to be a standard for the letters used to identify them. I've seen an "H" that is 4.5mm and one that was 6.00. Thanks for the pattern
