  • Magic loop

Wings

  • Round 3: CH 1, pull up. *1 HDC in next stitch, 2 HDC in next* around. Join

Eyes

Six Pointed Star

  • You can use any size crochet hook. In the photo, I used a size "H" crochet hook.

Drawstring Bag Variation 2

Pattern Notes:
  • Join with SL ST unless said.
Do the magic circle
  • Round 1: CH 1, 6 SC in ring. Join.
  • Round 2: CH 2, 2 SC in each SC around. Join.
  • NOTE: On the following rounds 3-10 , you will always end with a increase. If you don't go back and redo the round.
  • Round 3: CH 1, *1 SC in next stitch, 2 SC in next stitch* repeat from * all the way around. Join
  • Round 4: CH 1, *1 SC in next 2 stitches, 2 SC in next stitch* repeat from * all the way around. Join

  • Note: Round 29 is optional. You don't have to put a ruffle on it. Fasten off if you don't want the ruffle.
  • Round 29: CH 1, pull up (does not count as a stitch). *1 DC in next stitch, 3 DC in next stitch* repeat from * all the way around. You should end if a 3 DC. Join. Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
Pull Strap
  • Make a chain as long as you want. SL ST in each CH. Fasten off. Make sure to leave out long ends.
Crochet Ball
Attaching Pull Strap to Ball
  • With the long ends of the pull strap, put them in place and start sewing them to the ball. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

  • SL ST -  Slip Stitch
  • CH - Chain
Pattern Notes:

Chain 5, join.
  • Round 1: CH 1, pull up. 14 DC in ring. Join. [14 DC total]
  • Round 2: CH 5 (DC+CH 2), *DC in next stitch, CH 2*around. Join to 3rd chain of CH 5. [14 CH 2 spaces total]

  • FPHDC CLUSTER - front post half double crochet cluster
Pattern Notes:
  • Join with a slip stitch unless said
  • CH 1, pull up does not count as a stitch
  • To do the FPHDC CLUSTER, do a FPHDC, leaving the last two loops on the hook. Do that for the next 10 stitches. Yarn over and pull throught all 11 loops when done.
Sole
  • Do 8 HDC foundation.
  • Round 1: 4 HDC in next stitch, 6 HDC in next 6 stitches, 4 HDC in last stitch. Join
  • Round 2: CH 1, pull up. 2 HDC in same stitch as joining. 1 HDC in next 6 stitches. *2 HDC in next stitch, 1 HDC in next stitch* 3 times. 1 HDC in next 6 stitches. *2 HDC in next stitch, 1 HDC in next* 2 times. Join. You can change colors here if you want.
Sides
  • Round 1: CH 1, pull up. Working in back loops, 1 HDC in each HDC. Join
  • Round 2: CH 1, pull up. 1 HDC in each HDC around. Join. Fasten off.
Top
  • Find the center stitch by folding the bootie lengthwise. One you find the center stitch, count back 5 stitches. Attach yarn with a SL ST.
  • CH 1, FPHDC CLUSTER in same stitch. CH 1 to secure all the stitches.
  • Fasten off leaving a long end for sewing. Weave in all ends.

Pull String:
  • CH 90, SL ST in each CH. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Weave string through eyelets and sew the ends together.
